On Tuesday April 15th we grassed Practice holes 1, 2, and 3, the North Chipping green, and our Nursery green with Tifeagle Bermuda grass at the rate of 30 bushel baskets per 1000 square feet. The Bermuda is hand applied as shown in the picture on the left and then machine sliced into the greens mix as shown in the picture in the middle.

Guests enjoy a different golf experience
It didn’t take long for non-members at our recent Men’s Guest golf outing to realize that playing at Old Palm Golf Club is an experience unlike any other. For starters, the legendary Raymond Floyd designed our course to beautifully complement the land’s natural contours, which earned Old Palm the Audubon Society’s coveted Gold Signature Sanctuary distinction for its stewardship of the land.
Courchene Development building two new models in the Grand Estates
On the heels of opening two new model homes in Old Palm’s Golf Estates, Courchene Development Corporation has now started construction on two additional brand new models, which will be finished before the year’s end. Both of these model homes are in the Grand Estates, where each home site is a generous half-acre overlooking a lushly landscaped water feature.
Club season closes with an international flair
The Club season at Old Palm Golf Club recently ended with an event that will be remembered well into next season. The evening’s theme was “Around the World,” and the atmosphere was truly international as members gathered on the Event Lawn for the festivities.
Strong sales spur new model home construction
The season may be winding down, but sales remain strong at Old Palm Golf Club. In March alone, three homes in the Golf Estates and another home in the Custom Estates were sold.
