Our Honorary Club Chairman, Raymond Floyd has influenced virtually everything at Old Palm Golf Club aside from the residences. You already know him as a legendary competitor with sixty-two tournament victories.*
You may also know him as one of the world’s greatest golf course architects, but what you won’t know until you play Old Palm is just how very, very good he really is.
Everything golf-related at Old Palm reflects Raymond Floyds’s singular vision. His friends from the PGA and the Seniors or Champions Tour are frequent guests: From the back tees, Old Palm is a perfect course for them on which to practice and to train. Yet Raymond is equally proud – and our members couldn’t agree more – Old Palm plays like the ideal home course.
Mr. Floyd is intimately involved in ensuring all aspects of Old Palm are synonymous with the finest golf courses and clubs around the world.
* A Masters Champion, he is the fourth youngest player to win on the PGA Tour; the oldest player, at the time, to win the U.S. Open; win all three American major championships; the only player to win on both the PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour in the same year; member of eight Ryder Cup teams and Captain of the 1989 Ryder Cup Team.
