As the saying goes, “charity begins at home.” So Old Palm Golf Club and Rogers Design Group recently co-sponsored a charitable event for the American Heart Association at two of the newest model homes in our Grand Estates neighborhood, the Castillo II and the Ashford. Dozens of AHA donors attended the “Huddle for the Heart” event to hear physicians from Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center discuss ways to keep the heart healthy. Their advice was enlightening and, of course, taken to heart, as cardiovascular disease is still the number one cause of death in America. The setting at Old Palm was ideal, and everyone in attendance enthusiastically toured the model homes, which were both built by Hasey Construction. Lorraine Rogers Bolton of Rogers Design Group designed the wonderful transitional-style interiors in the Castillo II. The AHA is Lorraine’s favorite charity, so it’s fitting that the event was held there. The single-story, 5,665-square-foot Castillo II features a traditional, split floor plan with four bedrooms, five full baths, a den and a media room. It’s priced at $2,225,000 or $2,975,000 furnished. The 6,495-square-foot, two-story Ashford boasts five bedrooms, six full baths, two half baths, a loft and a clubroom. Its price is $2,600,000 or $3,475,000 furnished. We invite you to tour them to your heart’s content. See more photos on our Facebook Page.
