Golf and hip-hop music donât have much in common, but that all changed recently when one of the gameâs youngest foursomes launched their humorous rap careerâall for charity. The group, known as the Golf Boys, consists of 2012 Masters champion Bubba Watson Rickie Fowler, Hunter Mahan and ringleader Ben Crane, all of them hugely popular younger players who have won multiple times on the PGA Tour. In their second music video, called âGolf Boys 2.Oh,â they poke fun of themselves and rap about several other popular pro golfers, including Old Palm resident Louis Oosthuizen. As the foursome hits exploding golf balls off the tee, they sing about the 2010 British Open champion: âMessinâ with me you must be cruisinâ for a bruisinâ Donât let me catch you Louis Oosthuizen.â While the music video is all in fun, 100% of the proceeds go to raising awareness for the serious global need for clean water and to help build clean water projects in Ethiopia.
