Sales at Old Palm have been off the charts for well over a year. While housing experts may speculate on the factors that contribute to record sales, it really boils down to one thing. Old Palm offers a lifestyle so unique, so wonderfully extraordinary that it is universally regarded as the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches. And everyone wants the best. Having access to this privileged lifestyle begins with owning a home in one of the four neighborhoods, each one a delight in its own right. Isle Estates, the first new neighborhood to open in Old Palm since its inception, is a completely new concept. Homes here feature coastal architecture with luxurious overtones of the British West Indies and Bermuda with a prominent Caribbean flair. “Isle Estates is representative of Old Palm’s passion to stay on the cutting edge of housing trends and that desire to be relevant resonates throughout the community,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales. “We are constantly evaluating every aspect of Old Palm to ensure that we continually offer the gold standard, whether it be in construction, golf, amenities or lifestyle. We cherish tradition, yet we always keep an eye on the future.” For instance, Old Palm’s other three other neighborhoods continue to expand, as new home sites are released and new homes are constructed. Three new models just opened in the Golf Estates, where homes typically range from 3,400 to 5,000 square feet and are beautifully situated on quarter-acre home sites. Homebuyers have already expressed strong interest. Similarly, in the Grand Estates, where homes measure between 4,800 and 7,000 square feet, two models sold last week shortly after becoming available. Being on half-acre home sites, these homes offer more outdoor space to capture the Florida lifestyle. The Custom Estates presents even more space—a full acre—allowing buyers to create a one-of-a-kind residence, both indoors and outdoors. Old Palm’s allure also extends into the world of golf, which revolves around the spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. How could it be anything less than magnificent if PGA Tour and European Tour stars such as Charl Schwartzel, Louis Oosthuizen and Lee Westwood live here? Add the No Tee Time policy, which allows members to play whenever they wish, and the unparalleled Golf Studio practice facility, and it’s easy to see why golfers are so attracted to Old Palm. And if they need help with their games, Old Palm’s Director of Instruction is Mark Hackett, who has been honored as one of America’s Top 100 Instructors every year since 2009. Then, there is the Club, the heart and soul of Old Palm. Its timeless architecture and inviting interior reflect the warmth and intimacy of a private estate. To enhance the setting, a thread of impeccable, genuinely caring service follows members throughout the Club, but especially in the dining venues. Besides enjoying the main dining room, members are welcome to host parties in the private wine room and dine in the grill rooms in the Men’s and Ladies Lounges. Additionally, anything on the menu can delivered to members’ homes, all of it prepared under the watchful eye Jason Soule, the new Executive Chef. The Club offers so many exceptional amenities and different activities that members can always find something extraordinary to do.  Members may be found indulging in spa treatments such as stress-relieving massages, aromatherapy body wraps and exuberant mineral scrubs for women and men. There is a superb fitness center with advanced equipment for working out and classes ranging from Pilates to Zumba to muscle-toning ballet barre. The activities are always fun and run the gamut from festive parties to elegant luncheons to rousing Pub Nights for adults with diversions like bungee-jumping for children on the adjacent lawn. Recent events include a Yappy Hour Dinner for the family canine and a Country-Western Theme Night Dinner Dance. That’s the beauty of the social scene at Old Palm—whatever your interest, passion or age, there’s an activity ideally suited to it.
