Every other year, the Norton Museum of Art invites a panel of world-renowned artists to nominate emerging photographers whose work is on the leading edge of contemporary art and photography, but have not yet had a solo exhibition. This year, the nominees will showcase their work in the Rudin Prize for Emerging Photographers exhibit at the Norton, starting October 2 and running through January 11, 2015. This yearâs photography is highly conceptual in nature and created by artists from all over the world. The exhibit includes work from Miriam Bohm of Germany, whose photographs often blur the line between appearance and reality, Guatemalan Renato Osoy who is now based in Antwerp, and Delphine Fawundu of West Africa, a documentary-style photographer who launched her career by covering the hip hop culture.
