Robust sales fuel new model construction in Old Palm Golf Club’s Isle Estates

Sales are red-hot in Old Palm’s new Isle Estates neighborhood, where the homes are distinguished by beautiful coastal architecture. Hasey Construction’s Bonair model just sold, not long after the sale of the company’s Belize model.  In addition, Courchene Development recently sold its Hamilton Model in the Isle Estates. To meet the increasing customer demand, Hasey Construction and Courchene Development have other homes in various stages of design in the Isle Estates.

For starters, Hasey plans to build another Bonair model on a one-third acre home site overlooking the 10th hole of Old Palm’s spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. With 5,275 square feet under air, it is designed with an alluring informality, spaciousness and enticing natural flow between the indoors and outdoors. 

The Bonair offers four bedrooms, five full and two half baths in a traditional great room layout with a club room, theatre and upstairs lounge accessible by stairs or elevator that opens onto a rear terrace. Other inviting features of the Bonair include beamed ceilings, great separation between the bedrooms for added privacy, and a grand sense of spaciousness. The Bonair can be constructed starting at $2,325,000.

In addition, Hasey has begun designing a new model called the Bermuda that will begin construction in the Isle Estates later in the season. Like all of the neighborhood’s residences, the Bermuda will reflect the coastal architecture that has so captivated homebuyers.

Although the exact design or pricing hasn’t been finalized, the four-bedroom model will be one story, a departure from Hasey’s other models in the Isle Estates, which are two stories and somewhat larger.

“Homebuyers love the openness of the floor plans, and the Bermuda’s design will reflect that,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of  Sales for Old Palm Golf Club. “The intention is for certain areas such as the dining room to feel more relaxed and laid-back, giving the home even more of an island ambiance. Plus, being one-third of an acre, the home site encourages indoor-outdoor living year-round, another feature homebuyers love.”

Another esteemed independent builder, Courchene Development Corporation has several available models in the Isle Estates and is designing other homes. The company is about to break ground on a newly purchased St. James, which will mirror the fully furnished model of the same name located nearby on Plantation Way. With 5,129 square feet under air, the one-story St. James offers four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, and a separate club room away from the spacious living room and family room. The model can be built starting at $2,260,000.

The Hamilton is Courchene’s other model in the Isle Estates. Built to reflect the look of a Bermuda residence, the home’s exterior is painted white with pale blue shutters, the chimney caps are v-shaped like the ones in Bermuda, and even the name honors Bermuda’s capital of Hamilton.

The one-story Hamilton encompasses 5,080 square feet under air and features four bedrooms, five full and one half bath, a great room and a media room, all with exceptionally high ceilings. Insignia Design created the interiors with a soothing coastal palette that includes pale blues, creamy whites and shades of taupe. The Hamilton is priced starting at $2,250,000.

Courchene is also designing two custom coastal-style homes for buyers in the Isle Estates and yet another new model called the Coquina, a reference to the whitish shell limestone that is often used as a building material throughout the tropics. When completed, the Coquina will feature four bedrooms, five full baths and two half baths, and a private study away from the main living area and a three-car garage.

The 4,619-square-foot-under-air Coquina is the first new model in the Isle Estates under 5,000 square feet. It is ideal for homebuyers who prefer a more intimate footprint while still providing the carefree island ambiance that the neighborhood embodies. The Coquina is priced starting at $2,095,000.

The Coquina will occupy an outstanding home site overlooking the 10th hole of Old Palm’s golf course. While the floor plan is unique in many respects from Courchene’s other two models in the Isle Estates, the Coquina embraces the distinctive coastal architecture that defines the neighborhood.
