The mood was festive, the comments highly positive and the more than 300 residents and brokers in attendance couldnât have been more excited. The event, which ran over two evenings, was the opening of two new models in Old Palm Golf Clubâs Grand Estates neighborhoodâthe Savoy by Courchene Development Corporation and the Castillo II from Hasey Construction. The just-finished Savoy was presented for the first time that evening, and it shined. The 4,925-square-foot under-air model features four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths and a den. Highlights include a spectacular glass-fronted wine wall at one end of the family room and sliders that open onto a covered lanai at the other end. The Savoyâs interior is bathed in natural light from the abundance of windows and doors throughout. High ceilings dramatically add to the openness, and the transitional furnishings designed by Insignia Design Group lend the model a wonderful sense of serenity. The color scheme of creamy whites, light blues and soft grays subtly enhance the ambiance. This furnished model is available at $3,395,000. However, the Savoy can be built on another available home site in the Grand Estates starting from $2,621,040. Hasey Constructionâs exceptional Castillo II was the other model shown in the broker event. It features a traditional, split floor plan of 5,665 square feet with four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths, a den and a game room. The floor plan encourages entertaining, especially in the heart of the home where the kitchen opens onto the family room. The attendees werenât the only ones that found the Castillo II highly appealing. It sold fully furnished right before the event. However, the Castillo II can be constructed on any available home site in the neighborhood, starting at $2,708,780.
