Kick off and end the weekend at the Club

Weekends are just naturally for socializing, and that’s especially true at Old Palm Golf Club. It’s a time when members get together over cocktails, participate in engaging social events, or meet up for dinner in the Club. To help get the weekend started right, Old Palm offers a special Friday night dinner menu that varies week to week. It’s always a spectacular display of the chefs’ culinary wizardry, as they only use the freshest seasonal ingredients. Last week’s Friday night dinner is a fine example. Appetizers ran the gamut from succulent Panko-Crusted Crab Cakes to Cornmeal-Fried Chesapeake Oysters. Entrées were just as creative and also included delectable seafood dishes such as Wild Halibut and Scottish Salmon that could be blackened, sautéed, broiled or simply steamed with olive oil. For heartier appetites, the chefs cooked to order Butcher Block Steaks such as a 14-ounce Prime Rib Eye. As always, meals were accompanied by impeccable service. The perfect culinary end to the weekend is always Sunday Night on the Grill, a casual affair for the whole family. It’s an endless array of spectacular dishes. For instance, last Sunday, there were salad, pasta and carving stations, and a buffet featuring dishes such as Seafood Cioppino and Caribbean Chicken Curry. As always, prime steaks, tenderloins, hamburgers, hot dogs and Atlantic salmon were grilled to order. And that just touches on the highlights. Weekends at the Club offer a great opportunity to socialize and dine on extraordinary cuisine, and we invite Old Palm’s members to join the festivities.
