What a wonderful time of year in Palm Beach Gardens! The heat of summer is melting away as drier, cooler breezes beckon friends and family back to South Florida for yet another wonderful winter âseason.â By Thanksgiving, the party planning is in full swing as we prepare for December holidays and January gala kick-off teas, dinners and receptions. Shopping on the Avenue or at The Gardens is always fun, and the arts scene is alive with activity at The Norton, Kravis Center, Palm Beach Opera and Palm Beach Symphony. For the equestrian set, The International Polo Club Palm Beach provides thrills starting January 3. And, of course, there is round after round of no-tee-time golf on the visually stunning, Raymond Floyd-designed championship course here at Old Palm Golf Club.
The Club at Old Palm is the perfect place to celebrate the onset of the winter season. A golf tournament on Saturday and Sunday, November 5-6, started things off, while the Saturday night Opening Weekend Dinner Dance was enjoyed by all. Friends and neighbors caught up over cocktails, enjoyed a delicious menu expertly prepared by Chef Jason Soule and his culinary team while a live band provided music for this fabulous soiree.
