We hope everyone has made reservations for Christmas Eve Dinner at the Club. A splendid holiday buffet is planned and, in honor of the first night of Hanukkah, our traditional selections will be available also. What a wonderful evening to come together and wish Old Palm Golf Club friends and neighbors a joyous holiday. Be sure to reserve your place for New Year's Eve Dinner & Dancing, too!
Having all the kids and grandkids around for the holidays is a blessing, while keeping them busy can be a challenge, even if a welcome one. Fortunately, holiday outings still abound around Palm Beach Gardens. Here are just a few:
Snowfall at CityPlace in West Palm Beach happens every evening from now through December 31 (except for Christmas Day) at 6 and 7 p.m. daily, and 8 p.m. Thursday; Sunday, while Hoffman's Chocolates Winter Wonderland runs from 6 to 10 p.m. in Greenacres through December 30.
See a 35-foot tall, 600-ton sand tree and let the kids build a snowman south Florida style at Holiday in Paradise on the West Palm Beach Waterfront, 101 South Flagler Drive, now through January 1.
Bring a blanket and folding chairs and watch Elf
together on December 23 at 6 p.m. at the waterfront amphitheater at Harbourside Place in Jupiter.
Attend a giant Menorah Lighting at the Old School Square in Delray Beach on December 24 at sundown, or the Chanukah Family Festival on December 27, 4:30-8 p.m. at City Place in West Palm Beach.
Miami Ballet brings George Balanchine's timeless The Nutcracker
to the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach for five performances December 28-30. For tickets visit www.kravis.org.
Happy Holidays to everyone!
