Respected builder constructing new homes at Old Palm Bay Golf Club Courchene Development Corp. building one model home and a âspecâ home in the Golf Estates neighborhood A familiar name in the luxury-home-building industry will be constructing homes in Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Courchene Development Corp. of Boca Raton will be building one model home and a âspecâ home in the Golf Estates neighborhood within the private golf club community. Paul Courchene, president of the family-owned company, said his firm will build new homes in the Palm Beach style. The residences will range from 3,300 to 5,500 square feet of air-conditioned living space. âWe built four beautiful homes in the Custom Estates neighborhood of Old Palm Golf Club, so we are familiar with the community,â Courchene said. âIâve always thought it was a beautiful golf course community. When you drive through the gates it feels like Florida.â The company has built luxury homes in Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Hillsboro Beach, and has won numerous awards for its home-building capabilities. Many of the homes that Courchene Development has constructed in the area are exceptional, custom-designed residences. Courchene said that his company will bring this expertise and experience to the design and construction of the homes in the Golf Estates, which are priced from about $1.25 million. âWe want to incorporate the features of the larger homes into the Golf Estates homes, and are not afraid to do modifications to meet buyersâ needs,â he explained. âOur initial homes will be models, from which was can customize at the direction of the buyer. Many larger companies arenât able to do this.â Courchene said there will be all new floor plans created for the Golf Estates neighborhood, with new elevations. The groundbreaking is planned for this summer, with the first two homes completed before the end of the year. Old Palm Golf Club has three neighborhoods within its 650 acres. The community features a clubhouse and an 18-hole signature golf course designed by Raymond Floyd. The neighborhoods are the Custom Estates, the Grand Estates, where Hasey Construction is now completing a model home; and the Golf Estates. With a maximum of 330 memberships available, Old Palm Golf Club offers a magnificent clubhouse with three different dining experiences; a âno tee timeâ policy on the golf course; a fully equipped fitness center; a heated club pool; spacious locker rooms, with lounge areas; a spa that offers an assortment of services; and a golf studio, where members may improve their game using technology as well as a variety of practice areas.
