Old Palm Golf Club opens the new year with four new model homes in the Golf Estates neighborhood

January 13, 2012

The Palm Beach Post- January 13, 2012- This year is sure to be every bit as exciting as 2011 at Old Palm Golf Club, maybe even more so. That’s quite a statement because last year Old Palm shattered its sales record, and opened several new model homes, further establishing its position as the only private Club community in the Palm Beaches with new homes and new furnished models. The momentum continues to snowball in 2012, as four new model homes are opening in Old Palm’s Golf Estates neighborhood in January alone, two built by Mustapick Estate Homes, the other two built by Courchene Development Corporation. While each home is magnificent in its own way, they all offer the amenities luxury homebuyers want most. The features can be as indulgent as a spacious sitting area in the Master Bedroom that opens onto the heated swimming pool or as pragmatic as impact-resistant windows and doors. “The homes are light and bright, with high ceilings and beautiful woodwork,” explains Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales at Old Palm. “The interiors are very transitional, a perfect complement to the designs, which are Spanish and Mediterranean with a splash of the West Indies.” Although similar in style and price, which ranges from $1,535,000 to $1,815,000, the homes still give buyers plenty of choices. There’s variety in the number of bedrooms, whether there’s a Great Room or Family Room, and whether the home overlooks the Raymond Floyd-designed golf course or a spectacular, lushly landscaped lagoon. Mustapick’s magnificent 3,855-square-foot Marseilles model offers three bedrooms, a den, and a great room. For buyers seeking a slightly larger home, there’s Mustapick’s equally spectacular 4,055-square-foot Monaco model, the primary differences being a fourth bedroom and a more traditional Family Room versus a Great Room. The Decorators Unlimited designed the transitional interiors, ever mindful that Floridians prefer less formal furnishings. The two Courchene model homes also share similarities, yet are still quite different. At 3,951 square feet, the Royal Poinciana features four bedrooms, a den and a great room in an open one-story layout. A lighted fountain graces the entry courtyard. The substantially larger Chesterfield model sprawls over 5,060 square feet and has a second floor with a loft that’s accessible by elevator or stairs. The home overlooks the green on the third golf hole. Of course, Old Palm is exceptional on so many levels, and that passion for excellence and going above and beyond carries into the Club, a welcome blend of tradition and contemporary luxuries that feels like home. Designed to mirror the intimate scale of a Palm Beach estate, the Mediterranean-style Club encourages members to mingle in its casual, pleasantly understated atmosphere. Dining in the Club’s four magnificent venues is as exquisite as it is friendly. The sense of comfort and conviviality just naturally extends into the Spa, Fitness Center and the Casitas, adjacent to the Club where members can temporarily house their guests in sumptuously appointed suites. Old Palm Golf Club stands alone as the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches, with estate homes ranging in price from $1.5 million to more than $15 million. It is ideally located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens with close proximity to a wealth of luxuries and conveniences, including both Palm Beach International Airport and North County General Aviation Airport, which accommodates private jet airplanes. Old Palm enjoys sound financial security and stability, as it is managed by Clarion Partners, a leading real estate investment firm.
