On the heels of opening two new model homes in Old Palmâs Golf Estates, Courchene Development Corporation has now started construction on two additional brand new models, which will be finished before the yearâs end. Both of these model homes are in the Grand Estates, where each home site is a generous half-acre overlooking a lushly landscaped water feature. âBoth homes have large outdoor entertainment areas with sit-down bars and fireplaces,â says Paul Courchene, the companyâs President and Partner. âThereâs a natural flow between the outdoor and indoor spaces, which the designs accentuate.â The 5,837-square-foot Bentley has four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den and a tiered home theater that will be totally automated, right down to the electric reclining seats. Although the Palm Beach-inspired floor plan is grand and open, the home still retains its warmth and intimacy. One of its most unexpected features is the glass-walled wine gallery between the living and dining rooms. âWeâve built wine rooms before,â explains Courchene, âbut this wine wall is a first, and it really adds to the overall design.â At 6,855 square feet, the two-story Royalton is somewhat larger to accommodate five bedrooms, a den, playroom, loft, six full and two half baths. The size adds to its flexibility and appeal. Itâs ideal for empty nesters that want separate areas for their kids or grandkids when they visit. The design is also perfectly suited for young families that may prefer to have their children on the second floor, separated from the master suite on the first floor. âThe Bentley features a clean, classic Tuscan design,â says Courchene. âOur company is also doing the interior design, so the architecture and the furnishings are in complete harmony.â
