Itâs difficult to compare with momâs home cooking, but this Motherâs Day the chefs at Old Palm pulled out all the stops. On May 13, in celebration of the 98th national Motherâs Day, the Club held a spectacular brunch that would make any mom proud. The cold buffet was brimming with shrimp cocktail, Scottish smoked salmon, fruits and berries. There was a carving station for prime rib and country ham, another station for omelets, and classics like Eggs Benedict. The hot buffet held a wide variety of dishes including Chilean Sea Bass, Veal Oscar, Maine Lobster and Risotto, and Chicken Scallopini with Artichoke, Tomato and Oyster Mushrooms. And the desserts went on and on, from cakes and pies to cookies and ice cream sundaes. Motherâs Day is always reason to celebrate, especially when dining at Old Palm.
