The Bentley model in Old Palm’s magnificent Grand Estates neighborhood is a wonderful venue for entertaining. It has hosted real estate broker events, get-togethers for local business groups, and most recently a cocktail reception for the Palm Beach State College Foundation Board of Directors and the District Board of Trustees. The much-anticipated annual event, themed “Evening in the Garden,” honors the many donors that have generously supported Palm Beach State College by helping to provide funding for scholarships, new academic programs and capital improvements. The 75 or so guests in attendance had a great time as they toured the 5,837-square-foot home and its beautifully landscaped, garden-like grounds. Courchene Development Corporation built the Bentley on half-acre home site with a private water feature, so the setting was ideal. The Bentley boasts a wonderfully open floor plan that accommodates four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den and a tiered home theater. Still, the feature that often gets the most comments is the glass-walled wine gallery between the living and dining rooms. “We’ve built wine rooms before,” explains Paul Courchene, the company’s President and Partner, “but this wine wall is a first, and it really adds to the overall design.”
