“What a truly unbelievable season for sales this has been at Old Palm Golf Club,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales. “In only the first three months of the year we sold 17 homes totaling more than $35 million dollars, and the interest continues even as the season winds down.” What’s even more encouraging is that the volume of traffic at Old Palm continues to surge even though the traditional end of the season is fast approaching. To satisfy the expected demand through the remainder of the year, South Florida’s finest homebuilders are continuing to construct new models in Old Palm’s three neighborhoods. The variety of models and home sites is spectacular. In the Golf Estates alone, there are three completed models, three more under construction, and available home sites overlooking Old Palm’s spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course, private water features, and natural preserves. Mustapick Estate Homes is offering the Martinique, a 3,409-square-foot British Colonial-influenced design. It features three bedrooms, three full and one half bath, a den and family room. Thoughtfully designed with a minimum of hallways, the Martinique uses the extra space to expand the other rooms. The interior is bright and open, compliments of the abundance of windows. When built on a preserve home site, the Martinique starts at $1,271,000. Mustapick also has started construction on two other homes in the Golf Estates, both replicating models that recently sold. The larger home is the exceptional Monaco, a 4,055-square-foot residence with four bedrooms, four full and one half bath, a club room, living room and family room. The Monaco starts at $1,441,000. Then, there’s the outstanding 3,855-square-foot Marseilles. Its design flows naturally, lending a certain seamlessness to the layout, which features three bedrooms, three full and one half bath, a den and great room that opens on to a covered loggia. The Marseilles is priced from $1,423,000. Courchene Development Corporation also has a number of Golf Estates models, including the 3,485-square-foot Poinciana II. The home’s traditional split floor plan features three bedrooms, three full and one half bath, a library and a spacious great room that opens onto a covered loggia. To maximize views of the tropical landscaping, the Poinciana II has been designed with plenty of windows and sliding doors for a seamless flow between the indoors and outdoors. The Poinciana II is priced from $1,320,000 on a preserve home site. At the opposite end of the size spectrum, there’s Courchene’s lovely Chesterfield. The two-story, 5,060-square-foot layout includes four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den and a second floor with a loft that is accessible by elevator or stairs. The residence overlooks the green on the third hole of Old Palm’s Raymond Floyd-designed golf course, so the views are stunning, especially from the second floor. The model home is offered at $1,990,000 with immediate delivery. Knowing how quickly homes have been selling in the Golf Estates, Courchene is also building its beautiful Carlisle model on a quarter-acre home site. Its 4,062 square feet encompasses four bedrooms, four full and one half bath, a living room, family room and den. On a preserve home site the Carlisle starts at $1,469,000. “There is so much going on throughout Old Palm Golf Club that I always encourage potential homebuyers, brokers and Realtors to subscribe to our “Old Palm Journal, says McGinnis. “It’s a tremendous resource to keep up to date on the latest things taking place within the community. Old Palm’s Grand Estates neighborhood also offers a wonderful mix of existing models and others in various stages of construction. Courchene has two completed models there on adjacent half-acre home sites. The 5,837-square-foot Bentley has four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den, and a tiered, totally automated home theater. One of the home’s most unexpected features is the glass-walled wine gallery between the living and dining rooms. Although the floor plan is grand and open, the home still retains its warmth and intimacy. The Bentley can be built from $2,346,000. At 6,855 square feet, Courchene’s two-story Royalton model is somewhat larger to accommodate five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a den, game room and loft. The size adds to its flexibility and appeal. It’s ideal for empty nesters that want separate areas for their kids or grandkids when they visit. The design is also perfectly suited for young families that may prefer to have their children on the second floor, separated from the master suite on the first floor. The Royalton can be built from $2,646,000. Because sales of its homes have been so strong, Hasey Construction has three of its most popular models under construction in the Grand Estates. The single-story, 5,665-square-foot Castillo II features a traditional, split floor plan with four bedrooms, five full and two half baths and a comfortable clubroom. The floor plan encourages entertaining, especially in the heart of the home where the kitchen opens onto the family room. The Castillo II starts at $2,395,000. Hasey’s Ashford also has a split floor plan, with the addition of a partial second floor over the center of the home that can be reached by stairs or elevator. The magnificent, 6,495-square-foot layout boasts five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a loft and a club room. The pool will lie directly behind the living room, affording a clear view of the subtropical landscaping, open cabana and fountain beyond. The Ashford can be built from $2,750,000. For buyers seeking an even larger model, Hasey’s extraordinary Antigua more than satisfies in every respect. When completed, it will sprawl over 6,719 square feet to accommodate its five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, den, loft and game room. The Antigua is available from $3,650,000 on a golf course view home site. Finally, there’s the Custom Estates neighborhood in Old Palm, another hive of activity where owners can build residences that are truly one-of-a-kind. The Prima is a perfect example. Built by Couture Lifestyle Homes, the classically proportioned Italian-style villa flows over 7,800 square feet. It features six bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a Valcucine-designed kitchen, and a center courtyard that serves as the home’s very heart and soul. There is even a private outdoor courtyard with its own yoga pavilion off the Master Suite. The Prima is available for $5.8 million furnished. As another expression of the freedom of design afforded by the one-acre home sites in the Custom Estates, Couture Lifestyle Homes is building a brand-new model known as the Avanti. Overlooking the preserve for the ultimate in privacy, the 7,313-square-foot residence offers five bedrooms, five full and one half bath, library, wine room and home theater. It is priced at $3,950,000.
