A vital part of our team, the 18 privacy guards at Old Palm work in three shifts and can be seen driving around the community in specially equipped vehicles 24/7, making sure that life within our gates remains carefree and enjoyable. The privacy personnel perform all kinds of courtesies. They unobtrusively patrol Old Palmâs perimeter and grounds, alert residents if they have inadvertently left a garage door open, and perform routine property checks while residents are out of town. All of the privacy personnel are first-responder certified in CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillators), so they can also skillfully assist in case of a medical emergency while paramedics are on the way. âWeâre here to retain the privacy that our residents value so highly,â explains Brian Barca, Director of Privacy. âOur goal is to provide exceptional customer service and an experience that people donât usually get elsewhere.â The influence of the privacy personnel starts right at the main gate, as the guard greets non-residents with a sincere smile and a friendly, âHello, welcome to Old Palm.â Then, after verifying that the guest is expected, he instantly radios other Old Palm staff members to announce the guestâs arrival. That way, they will be ready and waiting to warmly welcome the guest for a round of golf on Old Palmâs spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course or perhaps to attend a social event at the Club. Resident and guests may not always notice the privacy personnel at Old Palm, but thereâs great peace of mind in knowing that theyâre always on the premises, ensuring their privacy.
