Old Palm Golf Club and Saks Fifth Avenue Palm Beach Gardens hosted an event featuring Roberto Coin jewelry at Old Palm last week. Â VIPs from the jewelry company and Saks were in attendance, including the famed Roberto Coin, who said he draws inspiration for his designs by personally meeting his clientele. More than 100 Old Palm residents and guests were also there, all of them aficionados of Coinâs exquisite jewelry. Many of them wore pieces from their own personal collections as they browsed Coinâs newest line, which included jewelry valued at up to $300,000. Although Coin has been creating high-end jewelry since the 1970s, his namesake brand wasnât launched until 1996. Since then, the various Roberto Coin collections have expanded to include necklaces, pendants, bracelets and rings, primarily for women. âCulture and art are the roots of every single piece that I create,â said Coin. âMy direction and my destiny as a designer are to pursue beauty, be seduced by it and share it with everyone. What is most important is to communicate true feelings, strong emotions and happiness.â The Royalton model in Old Palmâs Grand Estates neighborhood provided an ideal setting for the event. The two-story, 6,855-square-foot Royalton features five bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den, game room and loft that is accessible by elevator or stairs. Another highlight is the ingenious design that connects the kitchen and family room with the patio. A single roof beam appears to run the entire length of the three rooms, which adds harmony and seamlessly unites the indoors and outdoors. Itâs this great sense of openness that makes the Royalton such a gem. Photography By LILA PHOTO [gallery ids="6803,6804,6805,6806,6807,6808,6809,6810"]
