More than 100 members of the Womenâs Council of Realtors (WCR) recently gathered at Old Palm for The Third Annual Purse Auction and Champagne Tea Party. The catered affair drew an enthusiastic crowd of honored guests that included several of the organizationâs state officers. WCR President Linda Cassidy introduced Old Palmâs Director of Sales, Connie McGinnis who updated the WCR members on current activity and inventory at Old Palm. Realtor Curt Fonger, previous Fox and CBS TV news anchor, emceed as the attendees participated in the silent and live auctions. Guests and realtors also had a chance to tour the Ashford, the model home where the event was held. Built by Hasey Construction, the Ashford features a traditional split floor plan that sprawls over 6,394 square feet, not including the three-car garage. The layout boasts five bedrooms, six full baths, two half baths, a loft and a clubroom. The Master Suite occupies one entire side of the Ashford, and three guest bedrooms are upstairs for added privacy. The family room, kitchen and breakfast area beautifully flow together in one large expanse that feels even more spacious because of the abundant windows and two sets of French doors that open onto the covered veranda. The pool lies directly behind the living room, affording a clear view of the subtropical landscaping, open cabana and fountain beyond. The transitional style of the interior design by Teri Palomino adds even more grandeur and graciousness to the home.
