Old Palm members enjoy the ultimate beach experience

December 27, 2013

There may not be a beach in Palm Beach Gardens, but that hasn’t prevented Old Palm Golf Club from offering its members a wealth of luxurious beach amenities. Through a corporate membership with the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort & Spa, the residents of Old Palm enjoy complete access to the resort’s abundant amenities. The oceanfront hotel overlooks one of the most beautiful and spacious stretches of sand in the Palm Beaches. When Old Palm members visit, they are provided with complimentary lounge chairs, beach umbrellas and fluffy towels, so they can fully enjoy the private beach in whatever way they see fit. Members might bask in the sun reading a bestseller, sip on a cool drink in a freshly cracked coconut from the poolside bar, or simply gaze out over the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. If they are feeling more ambitious, they may snorkel, rent a jet-ski or kayak, or even body surf. There are also two heated outdoor swimming pools at the resort—an inspirational infinity pool and a lagoon-style pool with a long, winding slide. “By partnering with this luxurious Marriott resort, Old Palm is able to provide our members with the ultimate beach experience,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales at Old Palm. “The standards and level of service are as extraordinary as they are at Old Palm, ensuring a relaxing, carefree day in the sun for our members. Of course, the privileges don’t end at the beach.” Old Palm members may also indulge in the resort’s indoor amenities at significantly reduced rates, another perk of living in the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches. The choices for dining are exceptional. The restaurant 3800 Ocean overlooks the sea and boasts regional American cuisine. Lagoon Cantina features a Caribbean-influenced lunch menu with casual dishes that include blackened fish sandwiches and rock shrimp quesadillas. For an even more informal setting, there’s the Reef Tiki Bar, which offers a Pacific Rim-style menu and refreshing cocktails inspired by the islands. Another favorite amenity for Old Palm members is the resort’s SiSpa, a serene sanctuary dedicated to nurturing the body and soul. In the spa’s eight private suites, both women and men may enjoy services ranging from therapeutic deep-tissue massages to rejuvenating facials and skin-firming body treatments. There is also a salon with services such as sensory nail therapies and gentle waxing. “The resort offers our members a wonderful getaway that’s just moments away from Old Palm,” explains McGinnis. “It’s like a mini-vacation without the inconvenience of flying or traveling far. Our concierge will even arrange a shuttle back and forth, allowing our members to relax from the moment they walk out their front doors.”
