âWe expected 2013 to be a huge success,â says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales at Old Palm Golf Club, âbut we had no idea that it would be so far beyond even our expectations. Sales were absolutely off the charts last year.â A staggering 40 estate properties sold for more than $90 million, a nearly 50% increase over sales in 2012. Interest was high in all three neighborhoods, a confirmation that Old Palm offers homebuyers an unparalleled variety of luxurious home designs and home sites. In the Golf Estates, where homes range from 3,400 to 5,000 square feet, Mustapick Estate Homes and Courchene Development Corporation both sold an impressive number of their newest models and are constructing others to meet the demand. Mustapick is currently building its 3,855-square-foot Marseilles on a beautiful quarter-acre home site overlooking a preserve. The three-bedroom Marseilles can be built starting from $1,465,000. Mustapick is also building its four bedroom Monaco model on another preserve home site nearby. The spacious four-bedroom Monaco encompasses 4,055 square feet and starts at $1,480,000. Based on the success of its 2013 sales, Courchene is also offering two models in the Golf Estates. The 3,485-square-foot Poinciana II features a great room with three bedrooms and is priced from $1,320,000 on a preserve home site. Then, thereâs Courcheneâs magnificent Carlisle, which overlooks a private water feature. A brand-new design, the 4,062-square-foot home includes four bedrooms plus den and sells for $1,469,000 on a preserve home site. âBuyers love the variety of architectural styles and floor plan designs at Old Palm,â continues McGinnis. âWhatever style or size of home that you have in mind, Old Palm offers a luxurious estate to match.â The ever-popular Bentley models sits on a half-acre home site in the Grand Estates neighborhood. It is 5,837-square-feet and can be built starting from $2,450,000. Hasey Construction also had banner sales in 2013 in the Grand Estates, so much so that Hasey is now offering three different models in the neighborhood. The smallest is the four-bedroom 5,665-square-foot Castillo II, which starts at $2,395,000. Then, thereâs the two-story 6,495-square-foot Ashford, a five-bedroom residence that can be built from $2,750,000. For homebuyers seeking an even larger model, Haseyâs extraordinary Antigua sprawls over 6,719 square feet and overlooks Old Palmâs spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. The Antigua, as shown, is available from $3,650,000. Sales in Old Palmâs Custom Estates were also robust in 2013. The home sites in this neighborhood are one-acre, a rare offering in the Palm Beaches. With so much space to work with, owners can build residences that are truly one-of-a-kind. The Prima is a perfect example. Built by Couture Lifestyle Homes, the classically proportioned Italian-style villa flows over 7,800 square feet. It features six bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a Valcucine-designed kitchen, and a center courtyard that serves as the homeâs very heart and soul. There is even a private outdoor courtyard with its own yoga pavilion off the Master Suite. The Prima is available for $5.8 million furnished. âSeveral other unique Custom Estates residences are in the planning stages,â adds McGinnis. âEach one is a reflection of the buyersâ personalities and desire to own a unique home that simply couldnât be built elsewhere. Thatâs the beauty of this neighborhood. Whatever you imagine, you can build.â
