Two exclusive events were recently held in the two newest models in Old Palm Golf Club’s Grand Estates neighborhood. The first event was reserved for residents to tour the Castillo II and the Ashford designer-decorated models built by Hasey Construction. Then, a few days later, a similar event was held for the area’s top-producing real estate brokers. Both affairs drew an enthusiastic crowd eager to see the two models, which feature the newest trends in home design. During his closing remarks, Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales, thanked the brokers for their invaluable role in helping Old Palm reach more than $91 million in sales last year. He also announced the next event, which will be held in the Isles Estates next month, a brand-new neighborhood at Old Palm that features coastal architecture. As the crowd enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, several of the brokers provided entertainment by singing and playing guitar which followed the theme of the event to showcase the musical talents of the realtor members. It was the perfect backdrop for a leisurely tour of the Castillo II and the Ashford. Built by Hasey Construction, the single-story, 5,665-square-foot Castillo II features a traditional, split floor plan with four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths and a comfortable clubroom furnished with a poker table and shuffleboard ready for play. The floor plan encourages entertaining, especially in the heart of the home where the kitchen opens onto the family room. Lorraine Rogers-Bolton of Rogers Design Group designed the interiors for the Castillo II, which is priced at $3,295,000. In the same cul-de-sac, Hasey is also offering a new Ashford, a split floor plan model with the addition of a partial second floor over the center of the home that can be reached by stairs or elevator. The magnificent, 6,394-square-foot layout boasts five bedrooms, six full baths, two half baths, a loft and a club room. The interior design by Teri Palomino adds even more grandeur and graciousness. This Ashford is beautifully situated on a half-acre home site overlooking the spectacular finishing holes—numbers 9 and 18—of Old Palm’s Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. The furnished model is offered for c $3,950,000. On the adjoining home site, Hasey is also building an Antigua, an extraordinary model that’s even larger. Soon to be completed, it sprawls over 6,719 square feet to accommodate its five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, den, loft and game room. The Antigua is priced at $3,650,000 on a home site overlooking the golf course. Courchene Development Corporation also has a new Bentley model near completion on the same block. The 5,837-square-foot Bentley has four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, a den and a tiered home theater that is totally automated, right down to the electric reclining seats. Although the floor plan is grand and open, the home still retains its warmth and intimacy. The Bentley is available for $3,395,000. Want to see more photos? Visit Old Palm on Facebook
