Consumer confidence is up, and nowhere is that enthusiasm more apparent than at Old Palm Golf Club. There is an almost palpable buzz in the air throughout the community, spurred by exceptional home sales, surging construction and robust activity in the Club. Long before the rest of the country began to rebound, Old Palm experienced a renewed interest that has reached a fever pitch over the past several years. â2013 was a huge success at Old Palm and this year already shows the promise of an even stronger performance,â says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales. âEvery neighborhood in Old Palm is experiencing vibrant growth, and it will only increase as even more homebuyers discover the unique qualities of Old Palm.â The word isnât just out locally. Many of Old Palmâs estate homes have been sold to out-of-state buyers as their second, third and even fourth homes. Among the affluent, especially in the Northeast and Southeast, Old Palm has earned a certain cachet as the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches. It has become the place to buy, and in response the independent builders at Old Palm are constructing new homes at a feverish pace. Last year, Old Palm experienced over 40 sales generating sales revenue in excess of $91 million.  Buoyed by the unabated confidence in homebuyers, Old Palm expects to sell an even greater number of homes in 2014. Just two days ago, on Valentineâs Day, Old Palm opened its fourth neighborhood, Isles Estates, yet another indication that confidence has risen sharply. âThe concept is entirely different than any other at Old Palm,â says McGinnis. âThe neighborhood looks and feels coastal and features distinct influences from the British West Indies and the Caribbean. Itâs a wonderful complement to the rest of Old Palm.â Four model homes built by Courchene Development Corporation and Hasey Construction are available in the Isle Estates. Each model is beautifully sited on a one-third acre home site that overlooks one of Old Palmâs largest lakes, the spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course, or both/ Courchene also has a strong presence in Old Palmâs Golf Estates, where its two newest models sold as soon as they were furnished and available. The demand throughout Old Palm is so high that buyers instinctively know that if they hesitate the homes will quickly sell. Mustapick Estate Homes is another fine builder in the Golf Estates that is reacting to the heightened demand. Mustapick is currently building its 3,855-square-foot Marseilles on a quarter-acre home site overlooking a preserve and its Monaco model on another preserve home site nearby. Sales are also on fire in the Grand Estates, where both Courchene Development Corp. and Hasey Construction have just opened or have under construction five new models as the previous models sold out in record time. The appeal of Old Palmâs Custom Estates is equally robust, attracting buyers that want to build one-of-a-kind homes on one-acre home sites. With so much space to work with, there are few limitations other than the imagination. âNo matter where you look within the gates of Old Palm, there is growth,â says McGinnis. âThe atmosphere couldnât be any more positive or exuberant and each day the interest in Old Palm soars even higher.â Of course, Old Palm is exceptional on so many levels, and that passion for excellence carries into the Club, a welcome blend of tradition and contemporary luxuries that feels like home. Designed to mirror the intimate scale of a Palm Beach estate, the Mediterranean-style Club encourages members to mingle in its casual, pleasantly understated atmosphere. Activities abound, especially in light of the increase in home sales. From a leisurely day of playing the 19-hole golf course to dining in the Clubâs four magnificent venues, Old Palm is as exquisite as it is friendly. The sense of comfort and conviviality just naturally extends into the Spa, Fitness Center and the Casitas, adjacent to the Club where members can house their guests in sumptuously appointed suites.
