Every few months, the Historical Society of Palm Beach County holds a fun-filled event known as Cocktails in Paradise that celebrates our local history. Cafe Boulud in Palm Beach will host the next event on Tuesday, June 24 (5:30pm-7:30pm). Established in 1937, the Historical Society of Palm Beach County is a non-profit organization whose mission is to collect, preserve and share the history of the county. Its archives include two million photographs, maps, newspapers, journals and architectural drawings. Much of the collection is housed in a museum within the historic 1916 courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach, which also serves as the societyâs headquarters.
