If you are what you eat, the members of Old Palm Golf Club are healthier than ever thanks to a new Get Fit lunch menu. The dishes in this special menu are prepared without salt and with a zero-calorie pan spray. The vegetables are garden-fresh and the meat protein rich. Some dishes also include Gardein
TM
, a delicious plant-based food with a meaty texture that is low in fat and free of cholesterol, trans fats and saturated fats.
Here are some the dishes on the Get Fit menu now being served in the Clubhouse at Old Palm:
Baked Egg-White Frittata
Four egg whites, shaved asparagus, caramelized onions and goat cheese topped with tomato herb relish
Simply Steamed Atlantic Salmon
3 ounces of Atlantic salmon served with a trio of vegetables and fresh lemon
Mediterranean Herb-Grilled Chicken Breast
3 ounces of grilled chicken breast served over steamed baby spinach with balsamic-infused tomatoes
Vegetable Stir-Fry Over Zucchini Squash Noodles
Sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, broccoli, carrots, French beans and low-sodium tamari sauce on the side
Build Your Own Wrap
Low-fat, low-sodium, 100-calorie whole-wheat wrap with a choice of 3 ounces of Get Fit protein, veggies and white balsamic vinegar
Turkey Lettuce Wraps
3 ounces of baked ground turkey in leaf lettuce with avocado, cilantro and pico de gallo
