New group nutrition classes encourage healthy dining

Starting January 5, while New Yearâs resolutions are still fresh in everyoneâs minds, Old Palm Golf Club will introduce group nutrition classes for its members. Holistic health coach and personal trainer Diane Lusk will lead the once-a-week classes. Sessions will last for four, eight or twelve weeks with the first class being complimentary. Participants will learn all sorts of nutrition tips and practices to increase muscle mass, lose weight, and reduce cravings for unhealthy foods. They will also discover how to: ⢠Eat healthy when dining out⢠Read food labels for nutritional information⢠Eliminate toxins⢠Exercise according to body type⢠Reduce the risk for chronic diseases The nutrition classes will also offer food demonstrations, recipe exchanges and group support. Instructor Lusk will also be available for private health consultations.
