In anticipation of teenagers and younger kids being out of school for spring break, Old Palm recently organized several events for their entertainment. The first fun-filled opportunity was a two-day Spring Break Junior Golf Camp at the Golf Studio. Young golfers of all skill levels were welcome to join the 1.5-hour instructional class over the weekend. They learned the essential elements of golf, including driving, chipping and putting. The instruction was highly interactive and the emphasis was on having fun, as that has proven to be the best way to keep kids focused and interested in golf. For non-golfers, Old Palm held a Kids Night on the event lawn of the Club. There was bungee jumping, a rock wall slide and a wonderful buffet dinner prepared by the Club chefs. By their smiling faces and squeals of laughter, it was easy to see that the kids had a great time.
