Spring is always a busy time of the year, but even more so this year as Easter and Passover fell on the same weekend. As always, there were plenty of celebrations and activities at Old Palm Golf Club, the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches. Starting Friday evening, there was a Seder dinner in the Club with traditional dishes that included brisket, gefilte fish, latke, matzo stuffing and charoset. Saturday was all about entertainment as the Club put a big screen out on the lawn for Family Movie Night and served a casual dinner. The festivities continued on Easter Sunday with a sumptuous brunch in the Club. Every dish imaginable was available from the hot and cold buffets, omelet station, carving station, and pancake station. To add to the festivities, two Easter egg hunts were in full swing on the lawnâone for kids five and under, another for older kids. A dinner at the Club followed with an assortment of dishes such as Turkey Breast with Sage Gravy, Mustard-Glazed Scottish Salmon, and Grilled Lamb Chops with Rosemary Sauce.
