Coastal architecture in Old Palm Golf Club’s Isle Estates hits home with buyers

March 28, 2015

It didn’t take long for Isle Estates, the newest neighborhood in Old Palm Golf Club, to gain traction. With its first full season coming to a close, Isle Estates is already one-third sold out. No wonder. The neighborhood’s beautiful coastal architecture is dramatically different than the other home styles in the Palm Beaches, and homebuyers have responded enthusiastically.

“The coastal architecture in the Isle Estates has really struck a chord among homebuyers,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales. “It’s fresh, open and wonderfully original. Walk inside any of these homes, and you’ll instantly be aware of the unique ambiance, which is reminiscent of the British West Indies and complemented by an irresistible tropical flair.”

Although models are available for touring, they have been selling rapidly. Hasey Construction’s two original models—the Bonair and the Belize—sold recently but the builder has others in various stages of construction to meet the demand.

Hasey’s first model to sell was the two-story 5,275-square-foot under-air Bonair. It offers four bedrooms, five full and two half baths in a traditional great room layout with a club room, theatre and upstairs lounge that opens onto a rear terrace. Other inviting features include beamed ceilings, great separation between the bedrooms for added privacy, and a grand sense of spaciousness.

Another Bonair is now under construction in Isle Estates. It can be purchased starting at $2,350,530. However, as the model nears completion, the price is expected to rise.

Hasey also sold its original 5,540-square-foot under-air Belize model. It is also two stories and features five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a living room, family room, club room and upstairs lounge in a more traditional layout. The Belize can be built starting at $2,350,530.

In addition, Hasey has begun designing a new model called the Bermuda. Like all of the neighborhood’s residences, the Bermuda will reflect the coastal architecture that has so captivated homebuyers. Although the exact design or pricing hasn’t been finalized, the four-bedroom, five full and two half baths, great room and club room model will be one story, a departure from Hasey’s other models in the Isle Estates, which are two stories and somewhat larger.

Courchene Development Corporation has also been successful with its coastal-style models. Its fully furnished St. James models is now available for touring, while another one is under construction. With 5,129 square feet under air, the one-story St. James offers four bedrooms, five full and two half baths, and a separate club room away from the spacious living room and family room. The model can be built starting at $2,285,530.

The Hamilton is Courchene’s other original model in the Isle Estates. Although the first Hamilton sold, it is available for tours, and still another Hamilton is about to break ground. It’s an exceptionally popular model, as it reflects the look of a Bermuda residence.

The one-story Hamilton encompasses 5,080 square feet under air and features four bedrooms, five full and one half bath, a great room and a media room, all with exceptionally high ceilings. The Hamilton is priced starting at $2,275,530.

Courchene also has a new model called the Coquina in the works. When completed, the Coquina will feature four bedrooms, five full baths and two half baths, and a private study away from the main living area and a three-car garage.

The 4,619-square-foot-under-air Coquina is the first new model in the Isle Estates under 5,000 square feet. It is ideal for homebuyers who prefer a more intimate footprint while still providing the carefree island ambiance that the neighborhood embodies. The Coquina is priced starting at $2,120,530.

Indeed, Old Palm is exceptional throughout and epitomizes “Life Well-Lived.” The Club is a welcome blend of tradition and contemporary luxuries that feels like home. Designed to mirror the intimate scale of a Palm Beach estate, the Mediterranean-style Club encourages members to mingle in its casual, pleasantly understated atmosphere. The dining venues and inspired menus are equally exquisite, yet without even a hint of stuffiness. The sense of comfort and conviviality naturally extends into the Spa, Fitness Center and Casitas adjacent to the Club, where members can house their guests in sumptuously appointed suites.

Old Palm is also synonymous with golf, a tribute to the legendary Raymond Floyd who designed the spectacular golf course and its devilish 19th or bye hole. A resident of Old Palm and Honorary Club Chairman, Floyd served as Vice Captain for the U.S. team in the 2014 Ryder Cup, as well. Another major draw for golfers is Old Palm’s Golf Studio, a remarkable practice area with indoor and outdoor facilities that allows them to replicate every shot that may be encountered on the course. A game-improvement enthusiast’s dream, the Golf Studio houses three practice holes, a double-ended range, V-1 equipped hitting bay with TrackMan technology, short game area and putting green.

Old Palm is ideally located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens with close proximity to a wealth of luxuries and conveniences, including members’ access to a private beach club.

Old Palm Golf Club stands alone as the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches, with new estate homes ranging in price from $1.5 million to $15 million.

Additionally, Old Palm is near both Palm Beach International Airport and North County General Aviation Airport, which accommodates private aircraft. Old Palm is being developed by Clarion partners, a leading real estate investment firm with more than $25 billion in assets under management.
