Summer doesnât officially start until June 21, but why wait to celebrate? Old Palm kicked off the season a bit early recently with an evening dedicated to residents who stay in Florida through the season and those who go away for the summer. In other words, the Here Comes Summer themed evening celebrated all of Old Palmâs members and their guests.
The evening started with cocktails around the pool at the Club, followed by an exquisite dinner and then dancing on the event lawn. The Pam and Dave Band provided live music. The duoâsinger Pam Wyman from England and longtime South Florida musician Dave Reedâperformed all sorts of favorites, including jazz standards, pop rock, Motown classics and even disco tunes.
The good times lasted well into the evening, proving once again that Old Palm is the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches.
