Strong sales continue in Old Palm Golf Club’s Grand Estates

April 24, 2015

“The Savoy, the newest completed model in the Grand Estates, has everything buyers desire in a luxury home,” says Connie McGinnis, Director of Sales at Old Palm Golf Club. “The interior is light and airy, the ceilings high, the flow between the indoors and outdoors is seamless, and the detailing throughout is absolutely exquisite. If the sales of previous models in this neighborhood are any indication, the Savoy will be snapped up quickly.” It’s easy to see why the Savoy is so appealing the moment you walk inside. Courchene Development Corporation designed the model to maximize views from every room. The foyer presents a wonderful panorama of the pool and tropical landscaping through the living room windows. A different perspective of the outdoors and covered lanai is available from the spacious family room, breakfast area and kitchen, all of which open unto each other. An abundance of windows throughout provides natural light and different viewpoints. Other highlights of the 4,925-square-foot under-air Savoy include an inspiring wine room, double doors leading to the outside from the VIP guest room, and soothing gray, blue and cream hues that add a sense of serenity to the transitional interior. The four-bedroom, five full and two half bath Savoy also entices with its symmetry, as two two-car garages flank the entryway. This furnished Savoy is available at $3,395,000. However, the model can be built on another available home site starting from $2,584,410. The Bentley is another popular Courchene model. One recently sold; another is under construction and far enough along for touring. The 5,837-square-foot under-air Bentley features four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths, and overlooks a private water feature. The home can be built in the Grand Estates starting at $3,069,100. Then there is Courchene’s magnificent Viceroy, a 5,403-square-foot under-air model with four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths and a den. Its large back yard overlooks a private water feature. This Viceroy model will be completed later this year so there is still time for a homebuyer to customize it to his or her liking. The Viceroy can be built starting at $2,701,410. Hasey Construction, the other independent builder in the Grand Estates, has its magnificent Wedgewood model under construction. The two-story home sprawls over 6,725 square feet under air, so there is plenty of space for its four bedrooms, five full baths, two half baths, family room, living room, club room and wine room. The balcony on the second floor provides a sweeping view of the 9th hole of Old Palm’s spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. The Wedgewood is priced at $3,875,000. Hasey also has a model called the Windsor in the early stages of design. The Windsor offers 5,318 square feet under air with four bedrooms, five full baths and one half bath in a great room plan. The residence also offers plenty of glass to bathe the interior in natural light, an easy transition between the indoors and outdoors, and generous proportions throughout. “Homebuyers have responded enthusiastically to the models in the Grand Estates, and sales have remained robust,” continues McGinnis. “With precious few home sites left, I expect sales to stay extraordinarily strong until the neighborhood is completely built out. Now is definitely the time to buy, as the Grand Estates with generous ½ acre home sites have such a strong appeal.” Indeed, Old Palm is exceptional throughout and epitomizes “Life Well-Lived.” The Club is a welcome blend of tradition and contemporary luxuries that feels like home. Designed to mirror the intimate scale of a Palm Beach estate, the Mediterranean-style Club encourages members to mingle in its casual, pleasantly understated atmosphere. The dining venues and inspired menus are equally exquisite, yet without even a hint of stuffiness. The sense of comfort and conviviality naturally extends into the Spa, Fitness Center and Casitas adjacent to the Club, where members can house their guests in sumptuously appointed suites. Old Palm is also synonymous with golf, a tribute to the legendary Raymond Floyd who designed the spectacular golf course and its devilish 19th or bye hole. A resident of Old Palm and Honorary Club Chairman, Floyd served as Vice Captain for the U.S. team in the 2014 Ryder Cup, as well. Another major draw for golfers is Old Palm’s Golf Studio, a remarkable practice area with indoor and outdoor facilities that allows them to replicate every shot that may be encountered on the course. A game-improvement enthusiast’s dream, the Golf Studio houses three practice holes, a double-ended range, V-1 equipped hitting bay with TrackMan technology, short game area and putting green. Old Palm is ideally located in the heart of Palm Beach Gardens with close proximity to a wealth of luxuries and conveniences, including members’ access to a private beach club. Old Palm Golf Club stands alone as the premier private Club community in the Palm Beaches, with new estate homes ranging in price from $1.5 million to $15 million. Isle Estates, Old Palm’s newest neighborhood, recently opened and the response has been overwhelmingly positive for this new collection of coastal-style homes. Additionally, Old Palm is near both Palm Beach International Airport and North County General Aviation Airport, which accommodates private aircraft. Old Palm is being developed by Clarion partners, a leading real estate investment firm with more than $25 billion in assets under management.
