Fatherâs Day is always a special event at Old Palm Golf Club, particularly at the Club because dads didnât have to lift a finger to enjoy their favorite dishes. This year, the Club held an âOn the Grillâ event on Fatherâs Day with all sorts of items on the dinner menu.
There was Thyme and Black Pepper-rubbed Prime Rib, Turkey Breast with Sage Gravy, Chicken Francaise with Lemon Sherry Sauce, Seafood Paella and hearty Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes. Appetizers ran the gamut from chilled Shrimp Cocktail to Cheese Ravioli Bolognese, and there was a full array of salads and sides.
We asked several of the dads for comments, but nobody had a thing to sayâapparently, they were too polite to talk with their mouths full.
