Itâs difficult to compare with momâs home cooking, but this Motherâs Day the chefs at Old Palm pulled out all the stops. In celebration of this Motherâs Day, the 102
nd in our nationâs history, the Club held a spectacular brunch that would make any mom proud.
The cold buffet was brimming with shrimp cocktail, smoked salmon, and a farmhouse meat and cheese platter. There was a carving station with Beef Wellington and Maple-Glazed Ham, another station for omelets, and classics like Eggs Benedict.
The hot buffet held a wide variety of dishes including Baked Cheese Blintz with Lobster Newburg Sauce, Key West Snapper with Rock Shrimp, and Tecumeseh Farms Chicken with Morel Mushrooms. And the desserts went on and on, from cakes and pies to cookies and ice cream sundaes.
Motherâs Day is always reason to celebrate, especially when dining at Old Palm.
