The Northwood neighborhood is the cultural hub of West Palm Beach. Itâs full of eclectic restaurants, trendy boutiques and art galleries, all of which are becoming more popular as South Floridians discover the neighborhoodâs charms.
Large murals adorn prominent buildings in the neighborhood, metal sculptures are displayed on the sidewalks, and many artists have opened studios in Northwood. Itâs a thriving art community, especially during special events such as the upcoming Art Walk on July 9, 6 p.m.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Northwood was originally developed in the early 1920s. For the past several years, it has been undergoing a rebirth, which is evident in all the new shops, galleries and special events such as Art Walk.
