Have Fun With Fitness This Season

It’s not all about golf and luxury real estate at our exclusive golf club community. Fitness also plays an important role in the Old Palm lifestyle. After all, working out on a regular basis and eating right doesn’t just make you healthier; it’s also proven to make you happier, enhance your brainpower, increase your energy, and yes, even help you perform better on the golf course.

Here’s how we help our members live a healthier, happier life well lived.

2017-2018 Group Classes

For those who perform best in a group setting, the fitness center at the Club offers a diverse range of group fitness classes. The lineup changes every season to ensure we’re keeping up with the leading fitness trends while considering the wants and needs of our members. Our 2017-2018 group fitness schedule is officially out, and includes the following classes for members and their guests to enjoy:


  • Monday: Zumba at 9 a.m., TRX at 10 a.m. and Power Circuit at 11:15 a.m.

  • Tuesday: Water Aerobics at 8 a.m., TPI at 9:30 a.m. and Yoga at 11 a.m.

  • Wednesday: Train Like a Pro at 8 a.m., Pilates Mat at 9 a.m., Yoga at 10:!5 a.m., and Power Circuit at 11:30 a.m.

  • Thursday: TPI at 9:30 a.m., Water Aerobics at 3 p.m. and Yoga at 3:30 p.m.

  • Friday: Zumba at 9 a.m., Buns & Guns at 10 a.m. and Train Like a Pro at 11:15 a.m.

  • Saturday: Group Cycle at 9 a.m.

Each of these offerings are designed to enhance the lives of our members by promoting a community aspect while improving overall health. Additionally, there are some classes that are more targeted toward sharpening one’s golf game, such as TPI and Train Like a Pro. Others, like Water Aerobics, can work wonders for relieving stress on the body caused by arthritis or a strenuous day on the course. We also have staple offerings like Zumba, yoga and group cycle. Most importantly, each class is taught by one of our six certified fitness instructors, each with extensive experience and training in their own particular discipline.

Stay Fit Year-Round

Group classes aren’t the only way to stay fit at Old Palm. The Club’s fitness center boasts the latest in Cyber equipment which can be explored on your own or with the help of one of our skilled trainers. These range from bikes, to treadmills, ellipticals, and even free weights. We also have a full Pilates studio, golf-specific training equipment, and dietitians who can help you craft a diet that helps you excel in the gym and on the course. Plus, the adjacent spa offers everything needed to unwind in between workouts, whether you prefer a facial, a full-body massage, or simply a steam in the separate steam rooms in the men’s and women’s lounge areas.
