A Bronx Tale
January 7-12, 2020
From January 7th-12th, 2020, the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts is presenting the popular A Bronx Tale, depicting a young man's conflicted relationship between his devoted father and his inner desire to become a powerful mob boss. This spectacular performance is based on Academy Award nominee Chazz Palminteri’s story and features songs from Alen Menden, the masterful songwriter behind the infamous tunes of Beauty and the Beast. The cast members' enthusiastic portrayal of this invigorating tale is sure to evoke both tears, belly laughs, and a deeper understanding of the conflict between inner desire and family loyalty.
January 28-February 16,2020
As one of the greatest musicals of all time, Hamilton depicts the life of one of America's founding fathers - Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies. Hamilton's journey epitomizes the “American Dream", as he was born into poverty, overcame adversities, and then rose to great power to ultimately become the nation's first Treasury Secretary and George Washington's confidant during the Revolutionary War. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton represents the classic American story while blending hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, and R&B, to re-tell the story in a more diverse and relatable fashion for this generation. Hamilton will be showing from January 28th until February 16th, 2020.
March 3-8, 2020
The Kravis Center will be hosting Miss Saigon, written by the acclaimed creators of Les Misérables, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg. Set during the Vietnam War, this unprecedented production follows a young girl from Vietnam, Kim, who tragically becomes orphaned during the war and has no choice but to work in a bar. There, she became enamored with an American soldier, Chris, but the two were unable to stay together due to the fall of Saigon. For three years Kim searches and tries to find her way back to Chris, who isn't aware that he had fathered a son with her. When Kim finally reunites with Chris, he is accompanied by his new wife, Ellen. There, he must make the heartbreaking decision between true love and family responsibility. From March 3rd until March 8th, audience members are invited to enjoy the heartbreakingly beautiful love story, Miss Saigon.
Come From Away

As the Best Musical winner across North America, the Kravis Center is excited to announce they will be debuting Broadway's Come From Away musical winner, based on the actual events that followed September 11, 2001. This Critics' Pick story depicts the uplifting true story of 7,000 passengers becoming stranded in a town in Newfoundland and how the community embraced the strangers. While the cultural differences were evident, the skepticism was quelled after a night filled with music, dancing, and gratitude - ultimately bonding with the community. Written by the Tony® nominees Irene Sankoff and David Hein, visitors and residents of the Palm Beaches should not miss this incredibly inspiring tale of acceptance and inclusion during a tragedy.
SUMMER The Donna Summer Musical

The Kravis Center's spectacular performance of SUMMER, The Donna Summer Musical, portrays the transformation of the infamous singer from gospel choir singer to a renowned superstar diva. Unbeknownst to the world, Donna Summer was faced with significant barriers before becoming the iconic singer that she is now known as. With over 20 classic hits, featuring Love to Love You Baby, Bad Girls and Hot Stuff, this musical pays tribute to Donna Summer's life story - filled with trials and tribulations, yet ultimately resulting in triumph.
As part of Kravis On Broadway season, Wicked will be featured as part of the 2020 and 2021 performances. Based on Gregory Maguire's novel, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, this famous Broadway play is told from the perspective of the witches from the Land of Oz. The improbable bond between Elphaba, the Wicked Witch, and Galinda, the Good Witch, depicts them overcoming alternate personalities, beliefs, love interests, and the corrupt government.
