As one of the greatest musicals of all time, Hamilton depicts the life of one of America's founding fathers - Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies. Hamilton's journey epitomizes the “American Dream", as he was born into poverty, overcame adversities, and then rose to great power to ultimately become the nation's first Treasury Secretary and George Washington's confidant during the Revolutionary War. Written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Hamilton represents the classic American story while blending hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, and R&B, to re-tell the story in a more diverse and relatable fashion for this generation. Hamilton will be showing from January 28th until February 16th, 2020.
