This holiday season The Palm Beaches offer numerous events and activities perfect for the entire family! Residents of Old Palm Golf Club are fortunate enough to live only a short drive away from these activities thanks to Old Palm's ideal location in Palm Beach Gardens. Take a look at Old Palm Real Estate's top choices for family-friendly events this December:

Palm Beach Boat Parade

Also on December 4th is the 27th Annual Palm Beach Boat Parade! This highly anticipated event begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends with an extravagant fireworks show at 8:00 p.m. Watch as a long line of vessels in all shapes and sizes cruise down the Intracoastal from North Palm Beach to the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse, showcasing holiday adornments, lights, and festive decorations! This water-based toy drive is partnered with the U.S. Marine Reserves Toys for Tots. If you are interested in spending the night watching the Boat Parade, Old Palm Real Estate suggests visitors sit at Juno Park, Bert Winters Park, Waterway Park, Sawfish Bay Park, Jupiter Riverwalk, Harbourside Place, or Lighthouse Park. To learn more, or if you are interested in registering your boat, please visit: https://www.marinepbc.org/boat-parade

Zoo Lights

Enjoy a magical night at the Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society! Palm Beach residents and visitors are invited to take a tour through the sparkling light display at the Florida Wetlands and Tropical of the Americas and Asia exhibits. Presented by FPL, over one million eco-friendly lights are arranged throughout the Zoo's 23-acres. To get in the holiday spirit, guests can take fun photos with Santa (until December 23rd), participate in cookie decorating, enjoy s'mores and more! Zoo Lights is the perfect event for the entire family—held almost every night from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. until January 2nd. Lighthouse Story Time and Crafts

Offered at the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, children and parents can enjoy exciting stories about lighthouse keepers, Florida's history, and local ecosystems! Held under the Seminole Chikee Hut, this event is perfect for children under the age of eight. After story time, kids can partake in fun crafts and even receive a take-home craft activity! Guests are kindly asked to RSVP for this 30-minute event on Saturday, December 18th at 10:30 a.m. Reserve your tickets at: https://www.jupiterlighthouse.org/calendar/.

5th Annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival

On December 4th and 5th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., spend the afternoon at the 5th Annual West Palm Beach Arts Festival at the Armory Art Center. There is something for everyone; live music, demonstrations, food trucks, local artist displays, and activities for younger children. Up to 80 booths will be available to peruse throughout the outdoor sculpture garden. The West Palm Beach Arts Festival is the perfect place to pick up one-of-a-kind art pieces, check off your holiday gift list, or simply get out of the house during the holiday craze!
