Old Palm Presents the Top 100 Teachers in America Golf School

At Old Palm Golf Club, we pride ourselves on presenting our members with unrivaled opportunities for golf instruction. Our latest offering is the Top 100 Teachers in America Golf School, which will be held on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4.

What to Expect

During the exclusively offered golf school, members will work with instructors to develop a program appropriate for their particular needs. The lessons will cover every aspect of the game, from the fundamentals to short game instruction (including putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and specialty wedge shots). Our professional instructors will be utilizing state of the art video and analysis tools, including TrackMan and a V1 Video System, to provide recommendations tailored to each individual.

Old Palm to host third Els for Autism charitable event

On April 23, Old Palm Golf Club will host a third Craft Beer and Food Pairing fundraising event for the Els for Autism Foundation. The charity was conceived in 2009 after the son of professional golfer Ernie Els and his wife Liezl was diagnosed with autism The event will be held from 6-9 pm on the event lawn adjacent to the Club at Old Palm, where nine food and drink stations will be set up. Each station will feature a dish from a local restaurant or caterer and a craft beer from Tequesta Brewing Company or Twisted Trunk Brewing Company that makes for a perfect pairing. There will also be a silent auction, wine bottle ring toss, putting contest and closest-to-the-pin contest Additionally, shoppers will find the celebrity-coveted Stella & Dot line of jewelry, scarves, bags and wallets available for purchase. Celebrating the Fourth of July is one of the most anticipated summer events at Old Palm Golf Club, and this yearâs festivities were phenomenal as usual. They began with a bang and continued well into the night To kick off the celebration, we held our annual Firecracker Open on Old Palmâs spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. Competition was fierce during the tournament, which followed a shamble format, in which golfers play their own balls after taking the best drive in the group It was a clear day and not too hot when the players teed off at 9AM, so it couldnât have been more beautiful. Afterwards, the festivities continued for the golfers with an awards ceremony over lunch. Els for Autism fundraiser at Old Palm a huge success

Old Palm Golf Club recently hosted a second fundraising event for the Els for Autism Foundation, raising more than $40,000 for the Els Center for Excellence. The charity was conceived in 2009 after Ben, the son of professional golfer Ernie Els and his wife Liezl, was diagnosed with autism Although Ernie was playing at the Masters, Liezl represented the foundation and spoke about The Els Center of Excellence, a complex that will soon serve families with autistic children. The centerâs ground breaking was in March, and the first buildingsâa lower schoolâare scheduled for completion next summer.
